A business in Stacy reported theft of hundreds of pounds of aluminum stored in locked dumpsters, February 26. A fence around the property was cut for access. Video surveillance caught images of two male suspects with flashlights. The case is under investigation.

Snowmobiler said his throttle stuck, and forced him to lose control and he crashed his snowmobile into a tree Saturday, Feb 23 about 5 p.m. The 44-year-old man, a Mounds View resident, was airlifted to North Memorial. The crash scene was near Basswood Road and 505th in Nessel Township.

Rush Lake Resort and Campgrounds had a forced entry and theft of cash both from the register and from pulltabs drawer.  Fishing reels were also taken from the business.  The incident was reported Feb 12.
