There has been a rash of delivery items stolen from private property and mailboxes.  Incidents originating in Lindstrom at Broadway address, Eifer Trail area in north end, and Chisago City, Stinson Avenue.

Threshing Show Tractor Caravan chugs on

The annual Threshing Show is this weekend, between Taylors Falls and Almelund.  It certainly is a colorful event, shown by this grouping of various tractor models participating in the pre-show parade.

August 8 a sheriff’s deputy made an arrest of a domestc assault suspect in Taylors Falls, about 10:30 p.m. The  man was assessed at Wyoming Medical Center for extreme intoxication before being jailed.
