It was a nice start to the week for the Chisago Lakes softball team, defeating Pine City on Monday, April 25th, before following that up with a 13-1 win over Zimmerman last Tuesday.
The North Branch Vikings and the Mora Mustangs slugged it out on Monday, April 25 at North Branch, and when it was all over the Vikings came out on top 11-9 in a Rum River Conference matchup.
Standing at 2-2 overall going in to last Tuesday’s game with Princeton, the Chisago Lakes softball team crept above the .500 mark once again with a 6-5 win over the Tigers.
Still riding the wave that pushed them past Chisago Lakes two days earlier, last Saturday, both Cloquet and Hermantown took the Vikings surfboard and broke it in half.
Because the Chisago Lakes boys golf team has been soooo good over the last few years, for some teams, the expectations that go along with that type of success can be unbearable.
