First, they will be bringing their holiday cheer to the Christmas Festival at the Best Western, in Siren, at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7. This concert has become an annual event for the choir and the choir, along with the public, always enjoy this festival.
The boys have also been invited to sing a prelude performance for the Ecumenical Choir’s Lessons and Carols, in Centuria, Sunday, Dec. 7. This concert is being held at the Fristad Lutheran Church, in Centuria, on State Highway 35. The Boychoir’s prelude performance will start at 3:30 p.m. and the Ecumenical Choir will be at 4 p.m.
Also, on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., The Wild River Boychoir will be singing the Lessons and Carols at the Methodist Church, in Osceola. The general public is invited to all these events.
Looking forward to Jan. 17, the Boychoir is pleased to be performing at the upcoming benefit for Geoffrey Maiden-Muller, in Luck. Geoffrey Maiden-Muller was hoping to be a member of the Boychoir this year, and his father, Spike, has directed the choir in the past. Treatment for leukemia has detained Geoffrey from being in the choir this year. A benefit will be held to help defray medical bills. More details on this benefit will be published as the date gets closer.
Also in January, the director will audition for new Boychoir members. Interested boys, grades 3 and up, until voice changes are invited to contact Director Kim Boucher, at 715-294-4543.
