Giving Tree at Taylors Falls School keeps Pathways donations front and center
It was set up in the lobby and decorated. Boxes were placed under the tree for the following items: mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters and other warm clothing; toys (unwrapped), books, games, crayons, school supplies and any non-perishable food item.
This year, as in years past, the parents and children of Taylors Falls Elementary School, did an outstanding job of collecting warm clothing, toys, school supplies and many pounds of non-perishable food items. The items are given to Family Pathways, who distributes them to local families in our area that have a need.
Chris Drinnin, Lindstrom’s Family Pathways director, has picked up items collected at Taylors Falls Elementary School several times during the month of December to make the Food Pantry’s Christmas distribution go a little smoother.
Fifth grade students, Jessica Schmidt and Jake Wenholz, are placing gifts under the Giving Tree.
The Taylors Falls staff would like to thank the Taylors Falls parents and their children for their generous donations. Many more people will truly have a joyous holiday season due to their efforts.
