Fairview Auxiliary Garden Tour features nine gardens July 18
Tickets containing maps and directions may be purchased in advance at the Auxiliary Gift Shop at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming, at Fairview Lakes clinics in North Branch, Rush City, Lino Lakes, and Chisago City and at the Yellow Bus children’s store in Forest Lake. On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming from 9 a.m. to noon.
The garden tour, which, in the past, has proved to be a popular and well-attended event, will feature many gardening styles. Items of interest in this year’s tour are: a natural tiki hut, a Caribbean room over a shed, a wildflower meadow, an orchard with seven varieties of fruit trees, a bridal dressing room, which many brides have used before their marriage in this garden, and a 117-year-old farmhouse. Also included on the tour is a senior housing campus celebrating 100 years of service to seniors and opening its 60-acre grounds for all to see.
The Fairview Lakes Auxiliary invites everyone who loves flowers or gardening to attend this event. Proceeds of the tour go to the Auxiliary’s many projects to enhance community health and patient care. For more information call 651-462-4845.
