David L. Mix died July 9, 2004, at his residence in Chisago City at the age of 60 years.

He was born Oct. 10, 1943, in Madison, MN to parents William and Florence (Onstad) Mix.

David attended Princeton High School and graduated in 1961. He also attended and graduated from St. Cloud State in 1965.

He married Corrine Strand Aug. 7, 1966, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest Lake.

David taught school at the 4th grade level for 34 years and was also involved with catering.

His hobbies included cleaning, cooking, antiques, church activities, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence Mix; and his father-in-law, Arthur Strand.

David is survived by wife, Corrine; daughters: Heidi Mix, Sarah (Chris) Weber, and Amy Mix; grandsons: Luke David Weber and Mason Gerald Weber; loving relatives and a community of friends.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church, in Chisago City. Private family interment. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
