Voters, next Tuesday is your duty and honor to get out and cast your votes for the candidates of your choice. As evident by the all the letters to the editor in the recent weeks, it is obvious that people are getting involved. This is wonderful news, the more people vote, the more you are sure the right candidates were chosen.

As I have stated here many times before, if you are unclear about your feelings toward a politician, I strongly urge you to seek them out and ask exactly what they stand for. They will never turn you away, and you might just hear what you were hoping for.

If you have not registered, you can register at the polling station where you live. All you need is a valid Minnesota ID. Please get out and vote, it is our duty as Americans. Besides, I can’t stand it when a person tells me that he or she didn’t vote and then goes on and on about how much they dislike this politician or that one.

This Sunday is Halloween already. It seems like time is moving at an alarming speed lately. I hope you had a chance to take in the Halloween party that Chisago City threw last Sunday. What a great time for the children that was. I really enjoyed the horse driven wagon ride we took around Chisago City. Great job Chisago City!

If you read my article last week I wrote about the President being blamed for the flu shot shortage. I was trying to point out how ridiculous it was that Bush was being blamed for the shortage. If I was misinterpreted, I apologize. It was brought to my attention by some readers earlier this week. Thank you for responding and reading, your comments are always welcome.

Please remember this Sunday to look out and drive carefully. There will be hundreds of small children out and about and they need your help to be safe. Let’s make this a great Halloween, and a safe one.

Vote Tuesday, November 2––it is your right and your duty.
