University of Minnesota-Morris junior forward Brendan McNally was selected as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) player of the week for December 5-11, 2005.

McNally led the Cougars to a 2-1 record for the week, averaging 20.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, making 65.6% (21 of 32) of his field goal attempts and 85.7% (18 of 21) of his free throw attempts during the three game stretch. During the week, Brendan posted two double-double performances and a season-high 25 point outburst in a victory over North Central University.

Brendan is the son of Dan and Vicky McNally of Lindstrom and is a 2003 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School.
