“This was a fun couple of days for our team,” said Viking head coach Tony Aho. “They are young, but the guys wrestled very hard. Tom Mork has put a lot of work into the off-season and it really looks like it will show. Erik Kostik beat a ranked wrestler from New Ulm while Boyd Suparat lost a close match to a highly rated wrestler from Minnewaska. Our whole team looks solid and I hope that leads to some wins this year.”
The Vikings were scheduled to wrestle in a quadrangular Tuesday, December 5 at Hinckley-Finlayson. They’ll travel to Totino Grace to take on the Eagles tonight, Thursday, December 7, at 7 p.m. And they’ll wrestle in the Big Lake Tournament starting Saturday, December 8 at 4 p.m.
