Harris and Houle will participate in the Class A Individual and All Around Championships at 11 am Saturday, February 25. The State meet is in the Roy Williams Auditorium at the River Center in St. Paul.

“Two of my all-arounders, Alex Thomsen and Stephanie Boettcher were not able to compete due to injury. Alex has a back injury and Stephanie broke her thumb during practice last Wednesday. She will require surgery this week. This could have been devastating with such a big meet coming up, but the girls really stepped up and nailed their performances. It was awesome. Sasha Schoen, Amanda Bergerson and Cassie Peltier were alternates for many of the events going into the meet but, with the injuries to Alex and Stephanie, we needed them to fill those holes in the lineup. They were remarkable. Both Cassie and Sasha set personal records in the all-around competition and on the Balance beam. Cassie and Andrea Olson set personal records on the floor exercise. That is exactly what we needed from them. Seventh grader Lindsay Carlson had one of her best meets. She was fantastic,” said Chisago Lakes head coach Brett Kjos.
