John was born June 3, 1941, in South St. Paul to John H. and Jane (Falk) Blaeser. He graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1959. April 16, 1966, he married Barbara Conlin at Nativity of Mary Church, in Bloomington. John worked as a product specialist in monitoring systems for Universal Hospital Services. He was a Retired Chief M/Sgt. with the Minnesota Air National Guard having served 36 years. He was also a member of the Commemorative Air Force.
John is preceded in death by father, John H. Blaeser, and brother, Edward J. Blaeser.
He is survived by wife, Barbara; daughters: Colleen (Bryan) Kiefat, Julie (Joseph) Kinsella; son, Jon; mother, Jane Blaeser; five granddaughters: Lauren, Erin, Emily, Paige, Megan; brothers: Richard (Joanne), David (Kimberly); sisters: Mary Jane (Kenneth) Kruse; Jean (Michael) Wolff; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at St. Bridget of Sweden Church, in Lindstrom. Interment was in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
