She was born April 27, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Gladys is survived by husband of 63 years, Van, and children: Susan McElwey (David), James Vander Linden (Susan), Sally Rajamaki (David) and special daughter, Barbara Muckle-Schmidt (Dick). Gladys is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She worked at Northwestern Bank, the Faegre & Benson Law Firm and Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church.
Gladys and Van lived in South Minneapolis for many years. They were active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and later, the Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church. Gladys always had time for everyone. She went out of her way to make the lives of others much happier. A move to the quiet country area of Lindstrom, was a highlight in her life.
Memorial Services were held in her honor Saturday, Sept. 16, at First United Methodist Church, Lindstrom.
Donations may be made in her blessed memory to Parmly Senior Housing and Services, the Humane Society of your choice, or First United Methodist Church.
