The North Branch volleyball team beat Robbinsdale Cooper in three games (25-13, 25-15, 25-22) at home Tuesday, September 19.

“Our schedule has seemed to be on our side, having only one game this week,” said Viking head coach Kari Francis. “Against Cooper, we came out right away and established ourselves at the net. We took care of our side and focused on one point at a time.

“We are continuing to play as a team. Team chemistry is one of our biggest strengths this season. Every game is an opportunity to gain experience and identify strengths and weakness in preparation for post season play,” Francis added.

Megan Ranger led the Vikings with 11 kills. Kacie Ramberg followed with seven, Megan Scherer had five, Randi Zentner three, Meghan Kampff two and Ashley Johnson had a single kill.

The Vikings (Overall 8-1, Conference 3-1) host Fridley tonight (September 28) at 7 p.m. and play at the Duluth East Invitational Saturday, September 28.
