Wayne Franks, age 79, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born in Wisconsin.

Wayne served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from Minneapolis Public Schools.

He leaves behind loving wife of 51 years, Linda; sons: Curtis (Janet), Rod (Robin); daughter, Jeanie and four grandchildren, a twin brother, 10 half brothers and sisters and their families.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 13025 Newell Avenue, in Lindstrom.

Memorials may be made to World Mission Prayer League and Trinity Church of Lindstrom.
