The Chisago Lakes gymnastics team completed its regular and conference seasons with two wins last week.

At St. Louis Park, Tuesday, January 30, CL beat the Orioles 128.450 to 116.150. Britni Harris led the Wildcat victory by winning all four individual events and the all-around title. The all-around score is determined by adding the individual scores on the vault, bars, beam and floor exercise.

Alex Thomsen earned second all-around by taking a second on the vault, a third and two fourths. Teammate Andrea Olson was third all-around. She was second on the balance beam and had two thirds, a fourth and a fifth. Lindsay Carlson's fourth place all-around was earned by her second on the parallel bars, combined with two fourths and a fifth.

Against Columbia Heights, the Wildcats completed their dual-meet season with a year's best 130.700 Thursday, February 1. The score meant an easy win over Columbia Heights. The Hylanders totaled 80.400 in the meet at CLMS.

Harris repeated her Tuesday performance by taking the all-around and all four individual events. Her efforts resulted in an outstanding 35.600 all-around score.

Olson was second all-around with 32.500, including an 8.350 on the beam. Thomsen was third with 31.150. Her best score was an 8.050 on the bars. Carlson completed a four-place all-around sweep for the 'Cats with a 31.050, including a high of 8.200 on the vault.

"A great time to do it!" said Wildcat head coach Brett Kjos, referring to his team's season-best score. "We're starting to hit on all cylinders with sections just around the corner. We need to clean up our routines and add a lot of the new skills we have been working on in practice."

The Wildcats will compete next at the Section Meet at Mahtomedi Friday, February 16.
