Doris was born October 12, 1919, in Regent, North Dakota, to parents Sam and Esther Omdahl.
She was married to John Waldoch for 65 years. Doris was a long time resident of Center City, having lived in the same home for 56 years.
She had a career as a housewife and a nurse, working at the St. Croix Falls Clinic until her retirement. Her retirement time was devoted to gardening, antiquing, needlework, reading, bridge, traveling and family. Doris took particular joy in the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doris is preceded in death by sisters: Beulah and Charlotte; brother, Ted, and daughter-in-law Dale.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; children: Thomas (Grace) of Lindstrom, Virginia (Del) Mitchell of Minneapolis, Gregory of Minneapolis, David (Mary) of Lindstrom, Douglas of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Elizabeth (Patrick) Parks of St. Charles, Illinois, and Charles (Pennie) of Burnsville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Joanne (Don) Olson of McGregor.
Funeral mass was held Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taylors Falls. Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lino Lakes.
