Paul A. Thomasen, of Dresser, Wis., died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Osceola Medical Center at the age of 49.

Paul was born September 1, 1957, in Minneapolis, to Monica Osterbauer and Arden Thomasen. He graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1976. He attended the University of Minnesota-Waseca. February 14, 1997, he married Sherrie Brown in Duluth.

He worked as a manufacturing supervisor for 12 years and farmed. Paul enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting with his uncle, cousins and brothers, two-cylinder John Deere tractors and road trips.

Paul is preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Skiba; grandfather, Arden Thomasen Sr., and grandmother, Edna Thomasen.

He is survived by his wife, Sherrie; mother, Monica Osterbauer; father, Arden (Sally) Thomasen; brothers: Roger (Gina), Dan (Deanne); sisters: Sharon (Lance) Davis, Janet (Pat) Thomasen; grandmother, Sophie Skiba; nephews: Collin, Michael, Miles, Joey; nieces: Randee, Amanda, Kendra, Emily and Kate.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at St. Joseph Church, in Taylors Falls. Interment was in the St. Croix Falls Cemetery. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home.
