He died at home with the care of hospice after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
George was born November 30, 1923, in New Effington, South Dakota.
George is preceded in death by parents, Richard and Signe Bremseth; brother, Marvin Bremseth, and son, Wayne Bremseth.
He is survived by loving wife, Mildred Bremseth of 63-1/2 years.; daughters: Susan (Roger) Neafus and Wanda (Myles) Nelson; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
George farmed in Detroit Lakes and Ogema, Minn., until 1955. He was a semi-truck driver until 1969.
George moved from Detroit Lakes to Selah, Washington, and worked as a forklift operator for Tree Top Inc. for 23 years, retiring in 1993 and moved back to Minnesota to spend time with family.
He was with the U.S. Marines during WWII from December 7, 1943, to July 31, 1946.
George will be greatly missed for his great sense of humor and his walk in faith with the Lord.
Funeral services 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.
