Viking golf girls sixth at Mora. Both teams fall to SLP at home
Girls
At the Mora Scramble, the Vikings finished 6 of 16 teams with a score of 169. Individually, the two-person team of Amy Aho and Katie Foley brought home medals for their 39+39=78 round. Viking senior Hope Chenevert won a sleeve of balls for being closest to the hole in a special event.
Each school was allowed three, two-golfer teams who each played a best-shot, 18 hole scramble. The team totals were calculated by adding the totals from the two lowest scores for each school.

Spring Lake Park at NB
The Vikings couldn't compete with Spring Lake Park on the Vikings' home course. The Panthers took advantage of temperatures in the mid 80's and light winds to beat NB 181-213. The SLP score was the best score recorded by a girls' team at NBGC in the coaches' memories.

Boys
The Panthers used four scores in the 30's to beat the Vikings 152-173 in near perfect golf conditions. North Branch Coach Tom Moriarty shook up his lineup, hoping to spark a good performance. It worked, at least partly, as JV golfer Mike Dahl recorded the Vikings' second lowest score (43). Senior Brad Peters led the Vikings with a 42.
