The Wildcats had to wait until the fifth event, diving, to see their first place on the scoreboard. Other CL firsts came in the 500 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. Alex Thomsen won the diving competition with 157.85 points. Andrea Olson finished first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:10.42. The 400 freestyle relay team (Heidi Willhite, Brogan Lee, Olson and Leah Secord) won the last event won the final event of the evening by finishing in 4:06.01.
Secord and Olson had the only two second-place finishes for the 'Cats. Secord was second in the 200 freestyle (2:14.86) and Olson was runnerup in the 200 individual relay (2:35.59).

NSC Relays
The Wildcat swimmers opened their home season by hosting the North Suburban Conference Relays Thursday, August 30. The Wildcats finished fourth with 92 points in the nine-team, nine relay event meet. CL's best finishes were second places in the 400 medley, 400 freestyle and diving relays.
