The Sportsmen's Club in Chisago City continued its string of beautiful picnics over the weekend. The mid-80s weather was a perfect precursor for the clear, sunny day on Sunday, August 9.

There were events for children, as well as plenty of shooting events for all the firearm enthusiasts that gathered in celebration.

In the shooting events, Kip Berg won the Top Gun award. In the Lewis Class, Pat Heule won first place whil Steve Cunningham and Bruce Cadwell rounded out the top three spots.

With the kids out in full force, Shelby Oyinloye won the turtle races. Amanda Felix came in second place and Tori Nelson earned third place with her reptile.

The bike winners included Madison Flikke, a seven-year-old from Lindstrom, and Logan Perry, a five-year-old from Lindstrom.

In the drawing, McKenna Kieffer took the top prize, winning $200. Rick Ekstrand won $100 in the drawing, and Rick Bruce won $50.
