Donald G. Zemke, age 61, of Chisago City, died on February 19, 2009.

He was born in St. Paul, Mn on October 14, 1947 to parents Arnold and Leona Zemke. He attended St. Paul Central High School.

Don was employed as a project manager for Matson Corporation from 1970-1983 and from 1983-2003 was a private business owner in Chisago City.

He also served as a draftsman for 3M, designing machines and railroad cars. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap, his family and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Leona Zemke, and his brother Roger Zemke. He is survived by his daughter Kim (Steve) Kraabel of Andover, and his son Tim (Bonnie) Zemke of Lindstrom; grandchildren Trevor, Chris, Cassandra, Jordan, Steven, Shelby and Thomas and great granddaughter Summer.

Funeral Service was Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City.

Interment Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis.
