North Branch Area Middle School Geography Bee champion Noah Hubbard had quite a performance at the state competition at St. Cloud State University on Friday, finishing third overall. It is the highest finish ever by a North Branch Area student. As a result of his success Hubbard was awarded a $50 check from National Geographic, books from New World Atlas and Time Life, a textbook, T-shirt, ribbon, and two certificates.
