The Chisago Lakes C-Squirt Hockey team took first place in the Brainerd Tournament. They won against White Bear Lake 4-3 in overtime. Goalie Travis Olson stopped 38 shots. Jace Meirhoff scored three goals in regulation and a fourth exciting one in overtime to win the game. The team played Eagan later that night in a close 4-3 win.

The championship game was against Stillwater. Five different players scored to take home the championship trophy with a score of 9-5 with Carl Nephew scoring a hat trick. The team was lead by the coaching skills of Aaron Slagle (head coach), Jeremy Nephew, Tim Zaruba and Mike Klun. The hockey team holds a district record of 13-2-0. Players on the team are : Travis Olson (goalie), Sam Klun, Nick Lindsey, Justin Chavez, Luke Zaruba, Brock Thorsen, Jace Meierhoff, Preston Willman, Carl Nephew, Karter Mohs, Colten Christy, Ethan Ziliak, Austin Kirchner.
