Isabelle A. Smith, age 92 of Lindstrom passed away January 6, 2010 in North Oaks, Minnesota.

She was born November 3, 1917 in Little Falls, MN to parents Joseph and Catherine Mayrand. Isabelle married Willard Smith in 1938, and they moved to the Lindstrom area in 1946. During those early years Isabelle ran a boat landing for 10 years, while a homemaker and mother to her two chilren. Isabelle had a great love for music and dance, and she enjoyed singing, playing accordion and organ, and tap dancing. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by ex-husband Willard Smith, siblings Clarence Mayrand, Gladys Johnson, Irene Frye. She is survived by children Merlon Mayrand and Gloria (Robert) Johnson, grandchildren Shari Johnson and Shaun Johnson; many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom.

Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.
