She passed away July 18, 2010 surrounded by family. She was raised in a Christian home from an early age. After graduating from high school she left Nebraska and moved to Minneapolis and attended Lutheran Bible Institute. There she met her husband Philip Lindblom. They were married on July 6, 1945 after Philip returned from the service in World War II. LaDonna had many different occupations while raising a family. Phil was a Lay Pastor in the Lutheran Church so wherever they were serving she was usually the organist, secretary and wherever else needed. She taught piano lessons for many years. Music was a love for her. She volunteered to play the organ at Parmly for quite a while until her eyesight started failing and arthritic hands wouldn't let her anymore. She also volunteered in other areas at Parmly, at Church and in the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Viola Sjogren, husband Philip, infant twin children, Mark Ray and Eunice May, sister Maurine Cederburg, sisters-in-law Evelyn & Ruth Lindblom, and Jean Sjogren. She is survived by her children Lois (Walter) Srock, John (Janet) Lindblom, Paul (Linda) Lindblom, Dan (Connie) Lindblom, Becky (David) Sorenson, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren, two brothers Howard Sjogren and Doug (Joyce) Sjogren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends and her extended family at The Margaret S. Parmly Residence.
