He was born April 21, 1930 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to parents John and Esther Holmberg. Elwood is preceded in death by his parents and his son John.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia; daughters Ann (John) Wilson and Kim (Larry Williams) Delaney; grandson John Holmberg Wilson; and sister Leonore Moberg.
Memorial Service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls.
Visitation one hour prior to service at church.
Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
