Edmund S. Hamernick, founder of Hamernick Paint Company, age 88 of Lindstrom. Proud WWII Veteran. Member of VFW and American Legion. St. Paul Winter Carnival Titan of the North Wind 1969.

Passed away May 17, 2010.

Preceded in death by grandson Mike Hamernick; parents, John and Pauline; sisters, Sara, Josephine, Frances and Regina; brothers, Vincent and Ray.

Survived by wife of 68 years, Lorraine; sons, Edmund H. (Kathy) and Gerald J. (Julie); daughter, Bonnie A. and friend, Bill; 10 grandchildren, Kurt, Matt, Kim (Mike), Brandt, Travis (Kimber), Jennifer (Sam), Michelle (Thad), Jason (Kathie), Mike (Gina) and Michelle (Randy); 22 great grandchildren; sister, Esther; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 20 at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake, and continuing 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Friday, May 21 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 21 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
