Kathy M. Gago, age 60, of Maplewood, formerly of Zimmerman, died September 7, 2010 at her home.

Kathleen Mary Gago was born February 17, 1950 in Phillips, Wisconsin to Andrew and Mary (Tadin) Gago. She was raised and attended school in Phillips, graduating from Phillips High School in 1968. She later earned Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Bethel College. Kathy made her home in Zimmerman and delivered for UPS in Chisago and Wyoming for over 13 years. She loved painting, gardening and traveling. Kathy also enjoyed working on crafts.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Gago of Phillips, WI; one son, David (Annie) Johnson of Wyoming, MN; three daughters, Rebecca (Bob) Uelmen of Deforest, WI, Sarah (RJ) Reed of Flagstaff, AZ, and Elizabeth (Charlie) Welsh of Wyoming, MN; five brothers, Darrell (Diane) Gago of Tony, WI, Larry (Dorothy) Gago of Turtle Lake, WI, Bob (Mary) Gago of Oshkosh, WI, Mike (Barb) Gago of Phillips, WI, Tony (Vickie) Gago of Phillips, WI; two sisters, Diane (Ron) Tingo of Phillips, WI, Cindy Gago of St. Paul; five grandchildren, Braycen and Davin Johnson, Madeline Uelmen, Abigail Reed and Amelia Welsh; and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew.

A memorial service is Friday, September 10, at Sunnyside Free Lutheran Church, 6633 227th Ave, Linwood with Pastor Dave Keippela officiating. Cremation arrangements with Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel, 763-444-5212.
