This time, the Spring Lake Park Panthers were the unfortunate victims of CL's swimming and diving prowess.
The meet got started with the 200 medley relay, and with the team of Amanda Bean, Thomi Lee, Brogan Lee and Hanna Lee, a first place finish was almost a forgone conclusion, as those four swimmers haven't been beat in a dual meet yet this year.
In the 200 freestyle, B. Lee, Bean and Nicole Bean went one-two-three in the event to stretch the 'Cats early lead to 23-7.
With a one-two-four finish in the 50 freestyle and a two-three-four finish in the diving, the Wildcats enjoyed a commanding 24-point lead early.
Top finishes by Brogan Lee in the 100 butterfly, which was a school record, Heidi Willhite in the 100 freestyle, Thomi Lee in the 500 freestyle and Bean, Bean, Gamble and Willhite in the 200 freestyle relay put the meet far out of reach for Spring Lake Park.
With a 98-42 lead, the Wildcats went to swimming exhibition, but still managed another three first place finishes.
The win moved Chisago Lakes to 3-0 in the conference, with a lone blip coming in the conference relays against St. Louis Park, but that doesn't count against North Suburban standings, so Chisago Lakes will get their time against the Orioles again on Thursday, Oct. 7.
