Kayla Checkalski singled to left to drive in two runs and send Eichten to third. Jen Horst courtesy ran for Checkalski and stole second. Tossey then singled up the middle to drive in two more and the Wildcats led 4-1.
The Hawks scored twice in the top of the sixth to cut the Wildcat lead to 4-3. The Wildcats got both runs back in the bottom of the inning. Claire Habel singled to lead off the inning.
