North Branch Chamber holds Golf Classic
The North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce appreciates the involvement and support we receive from area businesses and organizations. August 11 the Chamber held its 12th annual Golf Classic at Falcon Ridge Golf Course. Congratulations to our tournament winners from Pizza Pub of North Branch.
The event welcomed 84 golfers representing 48 businesses. There where two hole-in-one opportunities for big prizes: $10,000 from Anderson & Koch Ford and $5,000 from Grand Casino Hinckley. Unfortunately, no golfers claimed the big prizes.

Eagle Sponsors: North Branch Outlets, Lake State Fed. Credit Union, Lion's Club of North Branch, Red Rock Radio WCMP and Xcel Energy. Birdie Sponsors: Fairview Lakes Medical Center, Devcon Security Services, Rapid Press Printing & Copy Center, Associated Bank, Minnesota Energy Resources and A & C Automotive & Machine. Through out the tournament, area businesses provided games for the golfers: Peoples National Bank, East Central Screen Printing, First State Bank of Wyoming, County Star, Noah Insurance Group- Amy Ralidak, Lake State Fed. Credit Union, Landmark Personnel, ECM Post Review, Prism Design & Embroidery, Shopko, Pre-Paid Legal Services- Julie Ward, Stearns Bank, North Country Coffee & Café, Ceramic Tile by Fred and Wurdemann Family Chiropractic.
Event organizers appreciated the extra help we received from John Hamilton and the Falcon Ridge Golf Course crew, Mike Leist (Furniture Mart), Brandon Lindahl (North Branch County Market), Bob Hylland (Lake Sate FCU), Jaye Kruckeberg (Shopko), Nate Olson (First State Bank of Wyoming), Bridgitte Konrad (City of North Branch), Carol Rice (Landmark Personnel), and Linda Emery (Stearns Bank). Taher served a fabulous banquet dinner at the golf course. The Lion's Club of North Branch grilled lunch for the golfers before the shotgun start. Jim Jorgenson from JJ's Auction Service was very entertaining during the live auction.
