On National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 2, Wildcat girls soccer senior forward Cassie Trandahl signed a National Letter of Intent to play women's soccer for Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. Trandahl accepted a $16,000 per year athletic scholarship from BC as their number one recruit for the 2011 soccer season. In 2010 Trandahl led the Chisago Lakes Wildcats to their first state entry in school history, earning All-State and All-Tournament Awards. Trandahl was tied for leading scorer in the North Suburban Conference, ranking in the top ten scoring leaders in the state.

Benedictine College is a private, Catholic liberal arts college rated as one of America's Best Colleges by US News and World Report. The Ravens women's soccer team, coached by Lincoln Roblee, were 2008 Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Champions. Cassie, the daughter of Dave and Cristy Trandahl, plans on majoring in nursing.

Seniors Aubrey Lawlor, left, and Ryan Merry were awarded their Triple A Awards on Friday, Feb. 4 by Activites Director Perry Aadland.

The pair were recognized for their success in academics, athletics and the fine arts throughout their high school careers at Chisago Lakes.
