Janine E. Lindblad, of Lindstrom, died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 18 at the Bethel Care Center in St. Paul, at the age of 62.

Janine was born July 25, 1948 at St. Croix Falls to Russell and Jane Benson. She graduated from Chi Hi in 1966. On August 25, 1973 she married Kent Lindblad at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. Janine ran her own photography business for many years and most recently worked at From the Heart Christian Book Store in Forest Lake. She enjoyed painting, tatting, calligraphy, Swedish traditions, music, singing and Sweet Adelines, and especially her family.

Janine was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Jane. She is survived by her husband Kent; daughters Angie (Joshua) Donald of Maplewood, Nicci (Doug) Johnson of Shafer; grandson Logan and another much anticipated grandchild; brothers Jim (Winnie) Benson of Center City, Jerry (Kathy) Benson of Plymouth, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia. Private interment will be in the Elim Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.grandstrandfh.com.
