Richard Clayton Kerr, age 87 of Parmly Lakeview Apartments, Chisago City, passed away September 17, 2010. World War II Veteran, fun-loving father, brother Grandpa and Great-grandpa. Richard had an easy smile, was eternally optimistic, everyone's friend, clever cartoonist and quick-witted jokester. Richard loved his country and his family.

Born on August 6, 1923 to Earnest Kerr and Tyra Mae Matson. Preceded in death by his parents, his infant sister, and his brother Howard Kerr, all of Duluth.

Survived by his brother, Donald Kerr (Duluth); his children-Michael Kerr (Bayport, California), Patricia Karasov (Edina, Minnesota), Richard Kerr (Choteau, Montana), and Heather Troutt and son-in-law Eric Troutt (Fairfield, California); grandchildren-Emily Knutson, Danielle Karasov, and Jackson, Landon and Madison Troutt; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Charlie Knutson and Kira Cooper; and special friend, Nancy Kerr of Burnsville.
