Masen Avery and Lauren Jewell as Students of the Month for January based on their commitment to exceptional schoolwork during the beginning of the 2010-11 school year. 

Masen Avery is a senior at Wolf Creek.  He joined Wolf Creek at the start of the second term during which he passed all four of his classes plus OTIS.  Masen's Learning Manager, Dave Thomas, said. "His creative thinking and ability to problem solve is evident throughout his coursework. Masen has a bright future!"

Lauren Jewell joined Wolf Creek in Term 2. She is a senior this year. Hanna Coleman, Lauren's Learning Manager, noted that, "Lauren is one of the most motivated and organized students I have worked with." She passed all her classes last term with B's and A's. Lauren is goal-oriented and determined to attend college for an RN to BSN, and recently decided that she wanted to look into being a midwife following her nursing degree. 

Wolf Creek is a tuition-free online charter school serving full-time students in grades 9-12 across the state. It is headquarted in Chisago City.
