Anita Ruth Otterstetter Nelson Drown died Friday, March 11 at Que Eldercare, in rural Lindstrom, at the age of 83.

Anita was born September 15, 1927 in San Antonio, TX to Pearl and Theodore Otterstetter.  She attended the McCloud North Dakota schools.  During her life she worked at Armour Meats, the Twin City Arsenal and as a realtor in the Twin Cities area.  In her free time Anita enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, playing cards, friends and family.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Theodore, and brother Ted Otterstetter.  She is survived by her children Lynn Nelson of Oakdale, Diane (Jeff) Wagner of Cascade, ID., Wayne Nelson of Big fork, Karen (Howard) Immel of Lindstrom, sisters Dorothy Stanley, Marion Carter, 12 grandchildren, nine and one much anticipated, great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the Parmly LifePointes Chapel in Chisago City. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be left at www.grandstrandfh.com.
