Elvice B. Johnson, of Lindstrom, formerly of Minneapolis, died Tuesday, Oct. 4 at The Villages of North Branch at the age of 95.

Elvice was born July 16, 1916 in Lindstrom to Carl and Emma Henrikson. She graduated from Benson High School in Omaha, Neb. In 1934. On August 5, 1939 she married Lorry Johnson in Spirit Lake, IA. She worked as a medical assistant for her brother Dr. Earl Henrikson and kept the books for her husband's dental practice. In her free time Elvice collected toothpick holders, enjoyed sewing, bird watching and her family.

Elvice was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dr. Lorry Johnson DDS; brothers Carl, Paul, Earl, Kenneth, sisters Marie and Arlie. She is survived by sons C. Peter, of Sunrise, Carl L. Jr "Woody," of Lindstrom, daughter Bunny (Richard) Nippert of Maple Grove, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren

Funeral Services were Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church - Lindstrom. www.grandstrandfh.com.
