Golf tourney approaching on June 15

With the early warm weather and golf course openings, surely all of you have had time to work the kinks out of your swing and bring your golf game to its mid-summer level! And that means you’re just in time to participate in the 12th annual St. Croix Valley Health Care Foundation Golf Classic. Here’s another great opportunity to play 9 or 18 holes with friends and colleagues on the lovely golf course in Frederic, WI, and to contribute to a very worthy cause. We have several opportunities through which you (or someone you know) can participate. There are Hole Sponsorships available at $250 and corporate sponsorships at $500.00. Playing fees run $55 for 9-hole events and $90 for the 18 hole events, in addition to a sponsorship fee.

There are a limited number of corporate sponsorships available, which means a sponsorship will receive special attention. Cash prizes, a hole-in-one contest, and other games will add to your fun! Don’t delay as this tournament sells out quickly. All proceeds from this event, which is sponsored by The RiverBank Insurance Center in partnership with our Foundation, are earmarked toward the purchase of an esophageal manometer for testing for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Last year’s Golf Classic participants raised monies to purchase a non-invasive ventilator (NIV) that has been helping SCRMC patients—most often those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)—breathe with less effort while avoiding the need for the insertion of a breathing tube, an uncomfortable and more invasive procedure. Participants will compete for prize money and have a chance to win a new car in two hole-in-one contests, sponsored by Larsen Auto and Johnson Motors.
