Vern J. Damm Sr.

Vern J. Damm Sr., much beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, went home to be with his Lord unexpectedly on the morning of May 20, 2012 at age 80. Vern was a cheerful and caring man that was ruled by kindness and giving. He sacrificed for his country in Korea, and sacrificed for his family when he came back. He gave his talents in service to his Lord Jesus. He was a collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia, coins, and film from the Golden Age of movies. He enjoyed landscaping his yards and gardening. He was an artist of his trade in bricklaying and perfected the craft of building fireplaces. His love for his wife Barbara was unending. His thoughts were ever on her by the expression of notes and yard flowers. Vern is survived by his wife Barbara; sons Vern Jr. and Donald; grandson Austin; brother David; and sister Alethea.
