Alan M. Davis

Alan M. Davis Alan M. Davis age 55, of Lindstrom died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis. Alan was born September 17, 1957 in Chisago City to parents Espy and Florence (Hemple) Davis. Alan was raised on the family resort in Lindstrom and attended Chisago Lakes High School graduating in 1976. He attended University of Minnesota Duluth for two years before he returned home after his father's death to run the family's Rose Hill Resort, on South Lindstrom Lake.

Alan also worked at Lee Data in Eagan. He married Donna Johnson in 1985 and they would later divorce. He loved traveling, deer hunting, the Minnesota Vikings as well as water skiing and snow skiing. Alan had a love for anything Disney and made several trips to Disney World and Disneyland with his daughters. He loved to socialize and spend time visiting family and friends but truly loved his time spent with his daughters.

Alan is survived by daughters; Ashley Davis of Princeton and Camille Davis of Minneapolis; sisters Janet Severson of Chisago City and Linda (Bruce) Johnson of Lindstrom, as well as his dog, Hercules. He is preceded in death by his parents, Espy and Florence. Memorial services Saturday, August 3, 2103 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with Rev. Joel Severson officiating.
