Cheryl Ann Kennedy

Cheryl A. Kennedy of Lindstrom, Minnesota died on Monday, August 5, after a brief struggle with cancer, at the age of 63. Cheryl was born September 7, 1949, in Minneapolis to Arthur John and Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Pedersen.  She graduated from Lindstrom-Center City High School in 1967.  On October 7, 1967, she married Patrick Kennedy at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Bloomington, Minnesota. 

Cheryl worked in law offices and insurance agencies the majority of her life.  Over the years, she volunteered as a Sunday School teacher, helped Pat coach T-ball, and was active in the Lions Club.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and being with her family.  Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Betty Pedersen. 

She is survived by her husband, Patrick; son Keith (Trisha) Kennedy of Traer, Iowa; daughter Kelly (Craig) Passeretti of Wyoming; and five grandchildren: Megan, Abby, Joe, Logan, and Grace; sisters Linda Pedersen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Patricia Pierce of Princeton, Minnesota; Sue (Mike) Brooks of Simi Valley, California; and a brother Randy Pedersen of Mankato, Minnesota and other loved ones. Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, from 5-8 p.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota. 

The funeral service is at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 11, with visitation from 12-1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom.  A private interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Mahtomedi, Minnesota.
