Darlene R. Scullen

Darlene R. Scullen, age 74 of Lindstrom, passed away January 6, 2013. Darlene was born on September 11, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents John and Ruth Hart. She graduated from Hamline University School of Nursing and spent 50 years as a registered nurse. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and needle work and was an accomplished seamstress. She was active with many committees at Trinity Lutheran Church and was also a member of the senior choir. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, and three aunts and three uncles. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Warren; children John (Sharla), Andrew (Kelli), Peter (Fiance’ Julie); step-children Donald and Elizabeth (Dennis); grandchildren Abigail and Rachel and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brothers James Hart and Albert (Dianne) Hart; sister-in-law Gloria. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and one hour prior to the service at church. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. Private family Interment. Condolences may be left online at www.grand strandfh.com.
