Gary Lee Carlson

Gary Lee Carlson, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home on September 30, 2013. Gary is survived by his wife Patricia (‘Pat’) Carlson, daughter Christa Lerfald, son Eric Carlson, sisters Nancy (Jim) Anderson and Shelby Straka, brother Jim Carlson, and grandchildren Ashly and Amanda Felix and Landen and Lucas Lerfald.

Gary was well known in the community. He was a volunteer fireman with the Chisago City Fire Department for 26 years, and also volunteered at Parmly for over 20 years helping residents in wheelchairs make it to church every Sunday morning and helping with communion in the Parmly Chapel. He was also proud to be a veteran and was active with the local American Legion. He was a kind spirit and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. October 3 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Visitation one hour prior. Burial at Chisago Memorial Park.
