Lois M. (Shaleen) Holmgren

Lois M. (Shaleen) Holmgren, age 87 of Chisago City, Minnesota, passed away peacefully during the night with her husband by her side January 15, 2014. Lois was born April 16, 1926 to Edwin and Alma Shaleen in Chisago City. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alan; sons Joel Holmgren and Wayne Holmgren; daughter Janelle Hennen; granddaughters Jessica Hennen and Brianna Hennen; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her brothers Melvin Shaleen, Russell Shaleen, Vernon Shaleen, and Gene Shaleen, and her sister Shirley Hoover. Funeral Services were January 18, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Interment at West Green Lake Cemetery in Chisago City.
