Grant Warren Bruce Crider, age 33, of North Branch, Minnesota passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at his home in North Branch. Grant was born August 2, 1980 to Kevin and Kathryn (Fitch) Crider at Cambridge Memorial hospital in Cambridge. He was an only child and lived in North Branch.
He attended the North Branch school district. He enjoyed art, electronics, sports, ice skating and hockey, video gaming, music and concerts, camping, swimming, fishing and hunting, cooking and BBQing, bike riding, snowmobiling, and he loved and enjoyed the many pets he had in his life. He was a devoted and loving caregiver to his beloved mother. Grant always made sure his mother and daughter were loved and taken care of; his family and friends were the dearest to him.
Grant is survived by parents Kevin and Kathryn (Fitch) Crider; daughter Courtney Stromberg, Courtney's mother Amy Stromberg; uncles and aunts Marlene (Donald) Olsen; Garland Crider; Jefferson (Linda) Crider; Darwin Crider; Darrell (Donna) Crider; Diane (Kenny) Roseland; Andrea Rhoades; Penny Hecht; Theresa (Ted) Hecht; Ron (Jean) Fitch; Patricia (Steve) Bernin; cousins Carrie (Shane) Anderson, Jeff Fitch, Chris (Ericka) Fitch, Dylan Waldhoff; second cousins Elijah Waldhoff, Olivia Waldhoff; and many other relatives and far too many friends to list. Grant is preceded in death by grandparents Grant and Marie (Kohklin) Crider, Wesley and Marjoria (Brown) Fitch.
A memorial service was held at Grandstrand Funeral home in North Branch Monday, January 27, 2014. Interment at a later date. Grant touched so many lives with his loving kindness and his boundless sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him. Dave Kunz said it best, "The biggest people have the biggest hearts."
