Michael A. Schneider

Michael A. Schneider, age 50, of Lindstrom, passed away suddenly on January 26, 2014 from an intracranial hemorrhage. Mike was born October 24, 1963 in Chisago City, Minnesota to parents David and Janet (Maynard) Schneider.

He was baptized and confirmed at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City, Minnesota. Mike graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1982. He entered the Army after high school and served in Heidelberg, Germany with the Military Police. He lived in Texas for a while after the service. He moved home after his father, David, had a stroke to help care for him. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Mike was very athletic and excelled at most things he did. He worked as a psychiatric aide in a prison, a cabinet maker, and with A&R Fiberglass.

He is preceded in death by his father David, brother David Jr., and nephew Matthew. He is survived by his mother Janet; daughter Shanaya Martinson; fiance’ Vonnie Moore; sisters Kathy Schneider and Julie (Rob) Eastman; nieces Jamie (Joe) Wilczek and Jessica Eastman, nephew Billy (Holly) Bursaw, step-children Vanessa, Cody, and Jake Moore; grandchildren Paizge and Dominick; aunts, uncles, and many great friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
