Glen Montzka

Glen M. Montzka, age 82, of Forest Lake, died on June 23, 2014. Glen was a longtime Vocational Agriculture Teacher in rural Minnesota communities and the owner and artisan of Glen Montzka Woodcraft in Forest Lake. Preceded in death by grandson, Clifton Montzka; brothers-in-law, Stephen Dillinger, Richard Hult.

Survived by wife, Mary Jean; sons, Vernon (Julie) Montzka, Will (Kathy) Montzka, Ben (Emily) Montzka, Dan (Marianne) Montzka, Timothy (Kristen) Montzka; honorary son, Jonathan Philbrick; grandchildren, Jethro, Naomi, Rebekah, Lydia, Andy, Hannah, Natasha, Ariana, Evan, Megan, Mandy, Brent, Morgan, Alissa, Heidi; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Josiah, Levi, Noah, Louis, Claire, Leah; brother, Harold (Marilyn) Montzka and sister, Lenatte Dillinger.

Funeral Service 11 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Chisago Lakes Baptist Church, 9387 Wyoming Trail, Chisago City. Visitation 4-7 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials may be made to the Soccer Field Fund at Chisago Lakes Baptist School.
