Bryant Peltier, loving father and grandfather, joined our Lord March 24, 2014. Bryant was born July 17, 1923, in Centerville to Joseph and Cecelia Peltier. He married Doris Bergstrom, October 10, 1951, and was a life-long resident of the area including Forest Lake, Centerville, Center City, and establishing his home in Lindstrom where he and Doris raised their four children.
He was first employed doing refrigeration work, then after schooling at Dunwoody, as an electrician, retiring from Commonwealth Electric as a Master Electrician. Bryant enjoyed working with his hands, inventing, tinkering, and repairing everything from toasters to automobiles. He also enjoyed listening to and playing music, and spent much of his spare time camping, and playing cards with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Lois (Ken) Guenther, Mary (Tom) Calley; sons Clayton (Darlene), Joel (Gina), 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Merrill of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sister Avias Zell of Stillwater, Minnesota, and many other relatives and friends. Bryant is preceded in death by his wife Doris, sisters Joyce Anderson, Colleen Greene; brothers Richard and Neil.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, in Lindstrom, MN. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and one hour prior to mass at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom, MN.
